SHIRLEY CAESAR GETS EMOTIONAL WHILE DISCUSSING HER LEGACY

She’s known as the reigning “Queen of Gospel,” but Pastor Shirley Caesar isn’t wrapped up in her own stardom.

In a recent interview on The Donnie McClurkin Show, the 11-time GRAMMY® Award-winner got emotional discussing her passion for God.

When asked what legacy she wants to leave behind, the 77-year-old fought back tears and said, “My main thing Donnie is that I never make the Christian family ashamed. I don’t ever want to mar the name of Jesus.”

Caesar, who recently released a new single, “It’s Alright, It’s Ok,” featuring Anthony Hamilton, continued, “I want my legacy to be that she pleased the Lord. That’s my prayer.”

I have been searching for a narrative voice for my book, and I believe I found such a voice today when I saw the Dr. OZ show. How do I go about having Mr. Ted Williams narrate my book on audio so our children may listen during their car ride, or before retiring to bed a nights? The book’s title is BRANDED: Zero Tolerance and the Accused Bully
